Yes, poor little John Michael Howson has had a history of losing it lately. He has formally apologised and been sent on a 4 week break by his employers since his outburst towards Christine Assange.

I have no idea what you're referring to.

Our collective communication skills are at question and I'm lookin' at you big boy! :)

Howson's defence of a little "Sieg Heil! Sieg Heil! Sieg Heil!" was that it was taken out of context (clearly there were no old party members present). He later said he was pointing out the "Nazi mentality" of those who tried to censor him.

Always a defense of those that step over the line and get found out - witness Bolt's "danger to free speech", said into a bank of microphones.

There's an article on The Drum today by an international law professor outlining how the Australian government could help Assange out of his impassein London, should it have the will to do so.

The reality is that Australia can still play a proactive, and perhaps even pivotal role, in seeking to bring about a resolution to the current stalemate.

There are a least three options open to Australia, all of which fall within the ambit of consular support for an Australian citizen and are broadly consistent with some of the initiatives the Gillard Government has taken in 2012 to support other citizens.
