This is quite a contradiction...logical fallacies! If it's false how could it be logical?
Thou shalt experience an example:
Hockey keeps saying when asked by media which programs will the Abbott Government implement....or whether a program previously mentioned would be implemented. His reply (and Hockey would be one of the most illogical if not the most illogical in the Federal sphere) is "Oh look we are not going to promise something we cannot afford or deliver"
Now if anyone is able to argue with me that this is logical you'd have to be illogical!
This cannot be classed as logical fallacy....just an idiotic fallacy. If Hockey keeps going like this can he tell us which programs the Liberals would be able to afford once in power? He will probably give another idiotic reply like "Oh look we cannot say unless we are elected" (or words to that effect). A logical answer (which Hockey is unable to give) would sound quite sensible and at the same time would be politically evasive. Do these responses sound sensible to you or do they sound obviously evasive?
