So we are moving to a a discussion about Australian liquor laws. Perhaps a new thread is warranted?

There are various marketing and other laws that affect what a business can and cannot sell.
You may remember the arguments over supermarkets selling pharmaceuticals.

Likewise chemists don't sell gunpowder, although they sell the component parts.

There is another issue here which you seemed to have missed. There is a "third person" person involved here....the Woolworths manager who told me. What do I tell him? That these two mental giants with the names of Roderick & Icey on Daily Wire say that they do not believe him. By definition you are accusing him of either being:
1) An incompetent (does not know what he is talking about although he is actually part of management)
or;
2) That he is a liar

Now Roderick and Icey.....you both tell me what to say to him

There is a third possibility, it is just possible that the mental giants that you mention might think that he is pulling your leg.

DC, your faith in management is admirable. You must be a real team player.

And even a fourth. That he is mistaken having gathered information from an errant grapevine.

Smile at him and spread the ALP Gillard-is-Good gospel. Who knows? He may just buy it! :D

You have to realize Icey that I am just a "messenger" on this issue. You and others are contradicting him, so I shall say that these "mental giants" on Daily Wire, are always right and so on this issue they are right and he is wrong. This is in spite of him being on the inside so to speak and in management
Is this what you want me to tell him...just yes or no

You tell him whatever warms the cockles of your heart. And his. Be gentle on him.

How can I be gentle on him Icey when he has a mental giant like you against him. This in itself is intimidating.
No doubt about it....you cannot beat an intelligent mind mate.

DC has respect for (non-Howard) authority, so Store Manager Scott Dawson could provide an expert second opinion on the matter. Perhaps you could ask him next time you're doing the grocery shopping?

I thought we have already resolved this issue with your incisive and intelligence input Icey?
Same to you Roderick. I mean how can one argue with the intelligence which is equivalent to that of Einstein. We are lucky to have both of you on these forums

"Equivalent to that of Einstein"; do you mean collectively or individually?
