Alright Margaret Thatcher passed away and she managed to fool the majority multiple times in electing her PM (not unlike John Howard in Australia).
But can anyone inform me what was her outstanding achievement during her tenure as PM of Great Britain which greatly benefitted the masses?

So Thatcher was a "fooler"...not a "doer". Same as Howard and the many others included in the political histories of the developed countries.
The electorates in these countries are not that bright...of course some are brighter than others....but basically they are easily fooled at election time. Hitler said it quote "Rulers are lucky that men do not think"
How true that is.

They also have the undemocratic First-past-the-post electoral system.

Rumours that there is now a shortage of Guinness in Ireland because of celebratory toasting of her passing are unfounded as extra supplies were accessed as soon as news of her death broke.

So if they had a different electoral system, does this make the electorate brighter?
