Rudd: satisfied: 42 (down 1) Dissatisfied 41 (up 5)

Looks like the honeymoon could be over. Whether it settles down to a workable marriage or an acrimonious separation remains the question.

ER is a day late. It should be out today.

Re the honeymoon being over, whilst I expect that would occur, I would hesitate to assume this from the current Newspoll. Newspoll fluctuates quite a bit fortnight to fortnight. In the end it settles somewhere near ER which is much more stable and in my opinion is more reliable. It has happened that ER swings the opposite way and has been proved right.

If ER is 52/48 again in favour of the Coalition then my opinion is that 52/48 is as close the ALP got after the leadership change and there is no movement yet. Should know soon.
