At the time of the second budget of this government, I thought it would open a topic devoted to discussion of how Tony and co are going.

The absence of previously vociferous LNP supporters here makes me wonder if this government is just so embarrassingly bad that even those vocal few cannot bring the, selves to say anything positive.

This budget: no improvements to government income; stimulus measures instead. Complete, absolute reversal on parental leave. Science research and education continuing to languish in priority behind climate denial centre funding, even more cuts to aid.... wow. Just..... wow.

I think you are being provocative and that's just naughty and will surely land you in trouble.

"Climate denial centre"? Ooh! Wow! Where is this previously unheard of facility?

"Abbott now leads as preferred prime minister, Shorten’s 35-32 a lead of a month ago having reversed".

Sweet dreams!

It's nice for him that he's in front of Short Run in the popularity stakes... But his politics and sense are still shite.

These guys are a laugh a minute. The infrastructure PM who hasn't started anything. The PM for women who has actually gone backwards from the existing parental leave allowances. The PM for Aboriginal people who has taken part in the closure of scores of communities.

way to go!

So the fascist project goes on. Diplomatic efforts to prevent the preservation of the Barrier Reef. Brandis wants to dictate art funding under the guise of 'stopping monopoly.'

The only thing as rubbish as the budget has been the ALP response to this. Not a breath of principle.

By the way, apparently we're all still for pushing boatloads of desperate people out to see with no prospect of survival.

Finally Tony Abbott gets what he's been asking for, after all the hostility, stupidity and waste.

Is Morrison just waiting for the loss at the next election to make his move? Could be.
