I am not a fan of "The Voice" on TV. My wife and daughter are and I just happen to walk by the lounge room where the TV is situated and where I incidentally hear the proceedings. I am puzzled by the screaming. What happened to clapping has it gone out of style? In my time screaming used to occur only in special concerts which effected teenyboppers like when the Beatles were in Australia.....and Rock and Roll at the Stadium with JOK and others. It never used to occur on TV talent shows. It just shows you that "The Voice" is solely aimed at teenyboppers and no one else (I cannot imagine a 50 or 60 year old screaming like that)
And what do teenyboppers know about artistic quality of singers/songs? Absolutely nothing!
This venue would be a great way for the music industry to promote it's songs and singers....whatever their artistic quality for teenyboppers and others
