Can't upload the image, but I got -7.50 economically, -5.95 socially.

On the hard left  Think the test is pretty bad, mind you.

I used to like the Oz Political Test that Bryan Palmer set up, it was based on party and policy but sadly it is no longer available.

Political Compass is the best test of the rest remaining and it has improved remarkably over the years. You can even plot the results of everyone on a graph just like HDMCs except we'd all be on the one graph now.

I can give you my previous result or would you like me to take the test again HDMC?

I don't really rate the Political Compass test, tbh. All the questions tend to 'force' a leftwing answer, so you have to be pretty damn right on the social/economic scale to get a 'positive' score.

I agree. Also the questions don't have enough options. It is either agree or disagree. Too many definitive statements requiring a agree/disagree answer when I could have said either.

My results: -0.88 economic (??) and 0.15 social. That puts me about right in the centre.

When you read the method behind the madness Len, that's the idea to make a definitive statement. It is designed to force you to make a choice. They say it on the site. I'll put you on the chart later today.

That's great Senexx, thanks for that.

Be good to see a few more starters, though.

Interesting that everyone that's taken the quiz so far has been put on the left.

Keen to see icey's results if he takes the test.

Interesting that I'm negative numbers (we're), is there another agenda here??? Perhaps the sign makers of the minus sign are hoping for a rush of home wall mounts featuring political compass placements <_<

Finally got round to doing this test and despite the shock, have added myself to the chart.

I'm on the wrong side of the y-axis and need therapy or some assistance to escape from the dark side.

Any suggestions, perhaps a friendly tea party I could crash?

I know JJ said above he added himself to the chart but I guarantee you he didn't.
As all the chart adding goes on in the URL & if you click the URL in a post above you'll find you're not in it Icey
JJ is. He is because I added him after he stated he did the test

Cheers

Strange - don't recall nor understand the mechanism for the plotting of positions and wonder if I somehow followed in JJ's foortsteps. I do recall I manually entered my woeful scores into some dialogue box, but into limbo they may have gone.

Nevertheless, I did capture a copy of my personal "compass" as a baseline reference point to aid me in my planned transition to the right.

Here it is:

If you want to nail my disgraceful stat's manually, they were Eco left/right -1.75, Social Lib/Authoritarian 0.92.

Economic interventionist hey Icey. Who knew? Only just though I notice. Nothing wrong with that slightly authoritarian streak....for now.

HEY! Fonzie! :emot-waycool:

Didn't see you on the chart before (though may have missed you in your little corner).

Come clean now. Did you cheat to get that perfect 10/10 score?

If not, how might I strive to achieve scores approaching, if not in fact reaching such magnitude? Om?
